About The Artist

Made With Imagination and Intention

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my shop! I am so grateful for your interest in my work, and I hope you find something that speaks to you! It is my desire to bring unique and one of a kind adornments to those who are intrigued by nature and artistic expression.

Hannah Mahar

Designer

Working out of my garage in central Arkansas, each piece is made by hand from objects that were personally hand selected, mined, or foraged by myself, the artist. Self-collected Arkansas quartz is a common theme in my work. Any insects or bones have been ethically sourced, usually by myself so I know where the item has come from. My organic work may be more rare in this regard, since I do not purchase farmed or live specimens of any kind.

Each finished piece starts with a spark of inspiration and undergoes a step-by-step preparation process that can take up to a week or more to see completion before being placed in a copper electroforming bath. Electroforming has many exciting benefits in pushing the creative boundaries of what we can turn into wearable or decorative art. If you wish to read more about what electroforming is please see our FAQ!
